Terms and Conditions

1. General Information

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before booking any tours or services. If you do not agree with these terms, you should refrain from using our services.

2. Bookings and Payments

All bookings must be made via our website, Instagram direct message (@yaya.tabi.nippon), or by contacting us directly.
Payment must be made in full prior to the commencement of the tour, unless agreed upon otherwise.
We accept payments via credit card and PayPal. Payment confirmation must be provided within 5 working days after Yaya-Tabi and the customer have agreed to proceed with the booking.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations made at least 2 months before the scheduled tour are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations within the following timeframes will incur the corresponding charges:
- 4 weeks prior to the tour.............30% of total booking amount
- 2 weeks prior to the tour.............50% of total booking amount
- 1 week prior to the tour................70% of total booking amount
- Within 3 days of the tour............100% of total booking amount (no refund)
- Cancellation on day of tour.......100% of total booking amount (no refund)
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule tours due to unforeseen circumstances, such as adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, or other emergencies. In such cases, customers will be offered a full refund or an alternative date for the tour.
We also reserve the right to cancel tours due to customers’ disrespectful behavior or actions that harm others in public spaces, even if the tour has already commenced. Should a guide witness violations of public rules or laws, the guide reserves the right to suspend the ongoing tour. In such cases, no refund will be provided.
If, after the initial booking agreement, we determine that it is appropriate to suspend or reject the booking based on our meet-and-greet discussions, we reserve the right to do so.

4. Participant Responsibilities

Participants are expected to arrive on time for all scheduled tours. Late arrivals may result in missed portions of the tour or forfeiture of the booking.
Participants are responsible for their own health and safety during the tour. It is the participant's responsibility to inform the tour guide of any relevant health conditions or concerns prior to the start of the tour.
Should a participant decide to suspend the tour due to a health issue, the guide will promptly take action to suspend the tour. However, in such cases, no refund will be provided.
Any inappropriate behavior, failure to follow instructions, or actions that disrupt the tour may result in the participant being asked to leave the tour without a refund.
The confirmed itinerary cannot be modified unless such modifications require additional hours or alter the total cost of the tour. If participants request changes to the itinerary on the day of the tour, such changes will only be accepted upon agreement between the guide and the participant, considering any additional time or cost that may be involved.

5. Personal Data

We respect your privacy and take the protection of your personal data seriously. Any personal information collected during bookings or communications will only be used for the purpose of providing our services and will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law.

6. Liability

While we take all reasonable measures to ensure your safety and enjoyment, we are not liable for any accidents, injuries, loss, or damage to personal property that may occur during the course of the tour. By participating in our tours, you agree to release us from any claims arising from such incidents.

7. Modifications to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of our services after such changes indicates your acceptance of the revised terms.

8. Governing Laws

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Japan.
